PALM BEACH
The aim of this large build was to create a contemporary, coastal-style residence. This included multiple living spaces, kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, balconies, garage, and extensive landscaping. Bespoke details were added including timber batten doors and ceilings, gas fireplace, standing seam cladding and an outdoor bath on the upper master bedroom deck. The exterior featured contrasting finishes of sandstone retaining walls, quartzite stone cladding, weatherboard and standing seam colorbond over the different levels.
The steep site required extensive excavation and the installation of many engineered walls with meticulous drainage to create terraced garden beds. Hardwood spotted gum timber stairs and landings create a beautiful journey up to each floor of the house amongst the garden beds which are a mix of tropical and native planting. Outdoor and garden lighting including LED strips and spotlights were installed to enhance accessibility and highlight feature planting making the space functional at all times.
