WHY IT HAS TO WORK, NOT JUST LOOK GOOD

A kitchen has to work as hard as it looks.

A beautiful kitchen that’s awkward to cook in is a daily frustration. The difference is in the layout, the joinery and the trades all being planned together — before anything is ordered or built.

A layout that fights how you cook

The sink, cooktop and fridge in the wrong triangle.

Cabinetry that doesn’t quite fit

Gaps, fillers and wasted space.

Benchtops chosen without the joinery

Overhangs and joins that don’t line up.

Plumbing & wiring opened mid-job

Surprises once the old kitchen’s out.

Appliances that don’t suit the cabinetry

Fit and clearances an afterthought.

Trades out of sequence

Cabinetmaker, stonemason and plumber not coordinated.

Planned together and built by one team, a kitchen works beautifully — and for decades.

They designed the kitchen around how we actually use it — the layout just works, the joinery is beautifully made and there’s storage everywhere. On budget, on time, and the finish is exceptional.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Building, answered.

How much does a kitchen renovation cost on the Northern Beaches?

It depends on the size, the joinery and finishes, and how much moves (plumbing, walls, appliances), so we price against your actual kitchen rather than a headline figure. You’ll get an itemised quote at the design stage, with variations agreed up front.

How long does a kitchen renovation take?

Most kitchens run a few weeks on site once the old one is out, allowing for cabinetry manufacture and benchtop templating. We give you a realistic programme up front and keep you updated.

Can we still use the kitchen during the renovation?

There’s a period without a working kitchen while the old one is out and the new one goes in. We plan the sequence to keep that window as short as possible and can help set up a temporary kitchen.

Custom cabinetry or flat-pack?

We build custom cabinetry made to fit your space exactly — it uses the room better, lasts longer and lets us work around your appliances and how you cook.

Do you handle stone benchtops and appliances?

Yes — we manage the whole job, including stone templating and installation and integrating your appliances into the cabinetry.

What areas do you cover?

The Northern Beaches — from Manly to Palm Beach — and Sydney’s North Shore.
