The project called for a complete revitalisation of the front garden — creating a welcoming and visually stunning entrance with real curb appeal, suited to its coastal setting and just as beautiful by night as by day.

The Challenge

Beautiful by day and night.

An entrance garden has to make a strong first impression while quietly solving the practical problem of getting from driveway to door. The sandstone walls and floating stone stairs needed to be both structural and elegant, and the planting, lighting and fencing all had to work together for year-round appeal, an inviting evening atmosphere and privacy — without ever feeling cluttered.

What We Did

Sandstone, floating stairs and light.

Designing and building the landscape as one team, we transformed the front yard:

• Built new sandstone walls — a solid yet elegant structure that blends beautifully with low-lying shrubs and ground coverings for year-round colour and texture
• Created striking floating stone stairs for a unique, visually stunning transition from the driveway to the entrance
• Placed ambient garden lighting to highlight the sandstone walls, feature stairs and plantings, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere in the evening
• Added timber batten fencing for a rustic-yet-modern touch, ensuring privacy while contributing to the coastal charm
