The brief was for a wharf that would stand as a testament to superior design and material selection — a robust, long-lasting structure that was as elegant as it was durable, and built to perform in a demanding waterfront environment.

A wharf lives in one of the harshest settings there is — constant water, salt and extreme weather. Structural integrity is everything, so the piles, decking and fixings all had to be specified and built to endure, while still looking refined rather than purely utilitarian. Getting the material selection and construction technique right was the whole project.

What We Did

Copper-capped piles and Blackbutt decking.

Applying expert construction techniques and high-quality materials, we built the wharf to last:
